First and foremost, I have hit 10K views! It might be an itty bitty thing digit for most bloggers, but to me it really means a lot! 10,000 views! WOW

So yeah, lets get going.

Product Description and Claims:

MAY CONTAIN[+/-; Titanium Dioxide(CI 77891), Iron Oxides(CI 77491, CI 77492, CI 77499)]

How To Use:
(from misshaus.com)

  • After your basic skin care routine, use a primer for an even base
  • Pump out an appropriate amount of BB Cream (1 pump is usually more than sufficient)
  • Dab product on cheeks, forehead, chin, and nose areas and use the tips of your fingers to lightly smooth product over face OR
  • Lightly dab product with a sponge and smooth evenly over face
  • Build coverage using leftover product by lightly tapping over any problem areas
  • Set with powder for a matte finish if desired

Packaging:

The packaging is a very sturdy bottle, with a pump to get the product. It's a very elegant shade of red, and the pump makes it so much easier to use! Love it, no complains here.

The front part of the BB cream has the product description in English, and the back has it in Korean.

Consistency:

This BB cream has a creamy texture, and is definitely thick in consistency. However, it applies and blends easily on the face.

Colour:
Obviously too light for my skin tone. This BB cream has a greyish undertone, which I guess is for the brightening agent of the BB; however this greyish colour makes my face look way too white :/
The colour tends to oxidise, which is great because it makes the shade look more adequate for my skin tone.

Coverage:
As the name of this product is "Perfect Cover BB" you would definitely expect some good coverage. I wanted to show you guys how well it covers, so you can be the judges yourselves.

I applied some eyeliner and blusher on my arm, and then built-up quite a heavy layer of the BB cream. As you can see, the redness was covered very well, and the eyeliner has also been covered to a great extent!

Sorry about my very chubby cheeks ^_^
As you can see from the before photo, I have quite some redness on my skin. I also have a few noticeable pores, and two dark spots.

Looking at the after photo, I must say that the BB cream once again showed that it is great at covering redness! Also, it has covered my pores extremely well. Very impressed!

Finish & Performance:
I would say that this BB cream has a semi-matte finish, but can look very dewy under direct sunlight. I really like the coverage, but I would like it if it didn't have such a grey undertone. It may look cakey if you build up too many layers, but one layer only looks fine

Scent:
The scent is kind of strong, so if you are sensitive to smells you might want to think twice before purchasing this product. I'm terrible at describing scents, but I would depict it as a floral perfume that has been mixed with sunscreen.

Lasting Ability:
It's great in terms of lasting ability, however I would still recommend setting powder, especially if you have oily skin. It doesn't budge, slip or slide, unless you live in a very humid climate.

Pros:
-Affordable (price varies between 10-15 USD)
-Great coverage
-Semi-matte finish
-Has a pump
-Has good UV protection
-Long Lasting
-Travel friendly

Cons:
-Strong scent
-Grey undertone
-Oily looking after a few hours
-Is actually quite heavy
-Might emphasise dry patches on skin

Conclusion:
I understand what all the rave is about, and why this is the HG BB for many people. It's really great for everyday use and I definitely recommend it. Repurchase? Yes.

Score
8/10

Oh! And Happy Women's Day!!

  1. Congrats on 10K views ^^ It's always exciting when you hit a milestone x I haven't tried this BB cream before, but I have heard a lot about it... I find all Asian bb creams to be very pale on me, washed me out so badly; I like how it covers your redness though ^^

    1. Thank you so much! It sure is :P
Yes, that's true....It's because people in Asia have very fair skin, and all their BB creams have whitening agents, so when people with darker skin tones use them it really looks awkward :P Yes, it does have good coverage ^^

  8. Congrats on the views!!
Although I disagree with you on the gray tone - maybe you just got one that's too light for you? I got #21 and it fits me perfectly, not too gray at all. Actually less gray than others I've tried. I guess it's YMMV with those Korean BB creams!
