Review: Etude House My Beauty Tools (Eyebrow Razor & Eyelash Curler)
2:26 PMHello fellow bloggers and other readers :D Today I am going to write my brief thoughts on these two tools that I recently purchased in my Etude House Haul.
(The thumbnail is cheesy and pink, I know :P )
First of all, let's start with the eyebrow razor.
How to use:
Using the eyebrow razor, trim your brow from underneath to shape it, and remove any stray hair growing outside the natural shape of eyebrows.
Caution:
-Use only as directed.
-Do not use on spots with injury, eczema or dermatitis.
-Keep out of reach of infants and children.
Do not store in a place with high or low temperature and direct sunlight.
Material:
Stainless, ABS
Now, I don't pluck my eyebrows because i'm afraid to stretch the skin around the eye area, which can cause droopy eyelids....and it hurts. So I use a great alternative, the razor!
I used to have another razor, but it was way too small (about half the size of this one) which made it inconvenient to shave the brows evenly.
The design of it is really cute :D I find it easier when a razor has a longer handle.
I find the edge quite sharp, and nicely gets rid of those baby hairs. Doesn't hurt at all, and I haven't had any accidents with it :D
Now for the Eyelash Curler~
This eyelash curler was made particularly for moonlit eyes.
How to use:
I'm sure you guys now how to use an eyelash curler
Caution:
-Use only as directed.
-Do not use on spots with injury, eczema or dermatitis.
-Keep out of reach of infants and children.
Do not store in a place with high or low temperature and direct sunlight.
Material:
Steel, silicone pad
I got this because since I have asian flat eyes, I need something less curved that fit my eye socket nicely. Even though I don't have monolids, my eyes have the structure os them, which is why this eyelash curler really works for me!
The design is super cute, with gold and pink colours~
As you can see, the part that curls your lashes is straighter than most eyelash curlers. If you have flat asian eyes, this curler might do it for you!!
It comes with two extra pads, which is excellent! If you end up getting this, make sure you don't throw it away without noticing!
Both of these tools were super cheap, and are definitely worth their value. Of course, there are some better quality products on the market (Shiseido, Shu Uemura ect....) but if you are on a tight budget, Etude House really is a good alternative~
Thank you for reading!!! Hope this was helpful :D

Omg I never knew stretching your eye area would cause you droopy eye lids =/ I'm too scared to use a razor though since cut myself by accident so many times trying to use a razor just shaving my legs, forget my eyebrows >.<
ReplyDeleteBut the eyelash curlers look so cute~ Love the pink and gold combination of colours - Etude really does know how to make their products look pretty and lure us in to buy them haha :P

I don't know if it's exactly true, but it still makes me fear it ahahaha :P Really? I never shaved my legs before, so I can't really give you a comparison.....I do think they are pretty safe though.

No problem!! Yes, do so!
DeleteCute packaging! Those little eyebrow razors sure do come in handy, I get mine from a local beauty supply store in some pretty colors. I'm not a huge fan of lash curlers...probably because I don't have the patience for them and my lashes have a natural curve to them already.
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend :)
Yeah, they are so cute right :D Ahaha, my lashes are stick straight so I need curlers to save me
DeleteThank you!! You too :D

ReplyDeleteI would like to try that asian-style eyelash curler XD
I know right??
DeleteI really like it because it fits my eye socket way better :D
The packaging is so cute, I love Etude House and would like to try these some day. I wouldn't have even known what the razor was if I hadn't read this!
