Summer Beauty Essentials

6:52 PM

Helllo beauties! Since we are in June (already!!) I thought it would be a good idea to write a summer-related post, so here it is! My 2015 summer beauty items!!

Well, since I go to work everyday now (summer job with my parents) i've been using more makeup to  look presentable to the costumers. I noticed the things I reach for the most in this season, and thus, here are my Summer beauty essentials!

All the items together :D

(Left to right)
Watson Green Tea Oil Control Facial Spray-This spray helps control that nasty oily summer face. It also is great if you are feeling too hot, since it's refreshing as well.

Skinfood Peppermint Morning Tea Dry Shampoo- Our hair gets oilier and dirtier in the summer, so this product is great to help you during those days you don't feel like washing your hair (or if you are trying to grow your hair out and don't want to wash it.) Review of it here.

Etude House Lock'N Summer Face Conditioning Fixer-Summer comes with humidity, rising temperatures and oily skins, so our makeup is more likely to slip off and melt away throughout the day, which is why any kind of makeup fixer is essential during this time of the year!

Innisfree Skinny Waterproof Microcara- This one is a no-brainer. Summer implies waterproof makeup, especially mascara. This one is currently my favourite!

Etude House Dear Darling Tint Neon-Orange is probably my favourite colour to wear during summer time! I mentioned the Dear darling tint line on my Favourite Korean Lip Tints post, and this neon orange shade is just as amazing (if not better) than the one featured in that post.

Insider No Sebum Mineral Powder-Again, summer comes with oily skin, and this setting powder is  my Holy Grail because it does not only set the makeup, but prevents the oil from forming on your face. Review of product here.

Etude House Precious Mineral Any Cushion- I like using this BB cream during summer since it's light weight yet has enough coverage. Also, SPF 50+++ is a great feature for this time of the year. Review of product here.

Skinfood Natural Fresh Oil Paper-Blotting sheets are so handy, because they don't cake up your makeup and leave your face looking nice and oil-free.

Tangle Teezer- Summer=Beach=Tangled hair.

Nature Republic Aloe Vera Soothing Gel- This product is today's highlight. A MUST buy, especially if you are a asian beauty lover like myself. This gel helps sunburns, it refreshes, it soothes the skin, moisturises, and helps nourish the skin, hair and nails!

So these are the 10 essential items for this summer! Hope you enjoyed this post, and if you guys have any suggestions, questions or requests please leave them in the comments below!

Summer is coming guys!! Let 2015 be an awesome year.

    1. For sure!! I don't use it as much since my acne medication makes my skin less oily, but i'm sure that once I stop the medication it'll come in handy :D I'm sure you can find something similar!

  9. You mention so many of my own favorites (the innisfree mascara, the aloe gel, the no-sebum powder) that now I'm incredibly tempted to go out and buy some of the other products you mention. Especially the dry shampoo sounds perfect for summer!
I love orange lip colors (and eyeshadows, for that matter!) in summer, too! It just brightens up the day :D
