Hello everyone! So now that September is here and summer is almost gone (T_T) I thought I would share with you guys all the products that I used up during the past 3 months~

So these are the products that i've used up recently. I actually felt like there were a lot more....perhaps I forgot a few  (>。<;)

Starting off with skincare!

1) C20 Pure VitaminC 21.5 Advanced Serum
I actually used up this serum relatively quickly (about 2 months) since I was afraid of it oxidising before I could make the most out of it. All in all, it was a serum I definitely liked since it did show visible results. For more details on it, check out my full review of the product HERE.

2) Uriage 50+ Sunscreen
This is about the third tube of Uriage sunscreen that I've used up, and it definitely won't be the last one. I can't get my hands on the famous Japanese sunscreens that every Asian beauty blogger raves about, but to be frank, with this sunscreen I really don't feel the need to look for Asian brands. It is SUPER light weight, and the consistency is almost water-like. Definitely recommend it.

3) Avène Cleanance Hydra Soothing Cream
This is just my daily moisturiser, it is usually the only thing I apply during the day (along with sunscreen) and I feel like it is quite sufficient. It doesn't leave my face leaving greasy, and the texture is very light and hydrating. Already using my second tube ・( ̄∀ ̄)・:*

4) The Body Shop Chamomile Silky Cleansing Oil
I got this cleansing oil a few months ago (check out my haul here) since again, it is hard for me to find asian brands and I had to find an alternative. Bottom line, I love it. I feel like it melts away all my makeup (waterproof and all) and after I rinse it off it doesn't leave a super oily feeling. Perfect pre-cleanse step.

And now for my makeup empties!

1) Maybelline The Colossal Waterproof Mascara
This mascara was the very first waterproof mascara i've ever owned, and it completely changed my perspective on mascaras. Because all the formulas I had previously used weren't waterproof, none of them could hold my curl which would basically make them absolutely useless. As soon as I tried this mascara, I felt like I finally understood why people take the time to coat their lashes with this sticky dark liquid. It holds my curl amazingly well, and also does a wonderful job at adding volume. However, it is definitely clumpy and doesn't really lengthen.

2) Maybelline Falsies Mascara
I purchased this before I discovered waterproof formulas, so needless to say, it was an absolute dud. I can't really give a proper review on it, since I didn't use it at all after finding out that it didn't hold my curl.

3) Clio Kill Black Brush Liner
It is with a heavy heart that I bid goodbye to this eyeliner. I will definitely repurchase it, no doubt about that. I've raved enough about it on my review, click HERE for more details.

4) Innisfree No Sebum Mineral Powder
Another item that I had a sad time saying goodbye to. Fortunately for me, I bought two of them at the time, and I can still enjoy the magical wonderfulness that this product has to offer. Full review HERE.

And that's it for today! I hope this post was helpful or at least informative in some way ^_^ Thank you for stopping by my blog, leave a comment if you are curious about anything and please follow!

  4. The Colossal Mascara you have seems to be of different packaging than the one I've tried. I've practically tried every Maybelline mascara. Lol. But the Colossal line and Falsies are my favorite! And I only buy the waterproof ones coz I'm always afraid of mascara running down my cheeks. :)

  5. My tube of Colossal Volume Mascara is almost over, too. Sadly, I don't think I'll be repurchasing. As you said, it does tend to clump, and I absolutely loathe how stiff and hard it makes my lashes! It's a pain to remove at night if I do more than one coat.

  6. I used to use Colossal volum mascara but I found it didn't really do much for my eyelashes, no length, not much curl either, so I switched to Essences Lash Princess mascara and I absolutely love it...it actually holds the lashes in place despite the fact that it's not waterproof.... here's a review I did on it in case you're interested
