Mini Haul: The Body Shop & KIKO Milano
4:42 PM
Today's post will be another beauty haul as i've been craving makeup and skincare more than ever at the moment (probably the side effects of starting a beauty blog....I gotta control myself because aint nobody got money for so much shopping)
So, first and foremost, I have a pretty good relationship with BodyShop's products. I support their natural/environmentally-friendly/animal loving campaign, their mission statement is 'To dedicate our business to the pursuit of social and environmental change' which I really respect and admire. I've never really tried their makeup, and i'm not a fan of body care, so all I ever reach for is their skincare products, which i'm very satisfied with.
When it comes to KIKO, i'm very ambiguous. I don't know if I hate it or love it. If you don't know the brand, it's an italian make that was founded in 1997 (AYEE, my birth year! All the 97ners put your hands UP!) which shows that it's a somewhat recent brand. I've had really great experiences with it, and some that weren't so favourable. One thing is for sure, they have great prices, and are definitely a growing cosmetics brand! They are keeping up well with what's trending, and are one of the few western makeup shops with BB Cushions already.
So enough talking, let's head on to the part you probably care most about. Here's what I bought:
Starting with the bodyshop
I usually always go with their Tree Tea line, but this time I decided to go for something more gentle and decided to try some products from their Camomile line.
The Body Shop Camomile Waterproof Eye&Lip Makeup Remover
This product wasn't so much for myself, but for my younger sisters and my mum. We all share it actually :D Since our precious makeup remover finished, we decided to get a new replacement ^_^
The Body Shop Gentle Eye Makeup Remover
The lady in the shop told us this one is good to cleanse the face makeup, so even though we don't need it, my mum decided to pick it up.
The Body Shop Camomile Silky Cleansing Oil
This was a personal purchase. I'm slowly building my perfect skincare routine, and I need an oil cleanser for my pre-cleanse and facial massages. I know DHC, Shu Uemura, Skinfood and Innisfree have great oil cleansers, but since I was there why not just give it a try? No shipping and no waiting needed.
Things I bought in KIKO
Kiko's packaging actually really reminds me of MAC and 3CE :D The black matte packaging sure is popular~
I wasn't actually planning to buy anything when I walked into the store, but I ended up taking these two goodies home
KIKO Super Gloss #120
I know the whole world has been loving the full-matte-lip look (i'm not exception) but lately i've been also liking the little-cute-glossy-lip look! I wasn't sure if I was going to buy this gloss, but it was only €2!
KIKO Smart Lip Pencil #707
This was also an impulse purchase, because of the insanely cheap price. €1.90! It's a pretty coral colour, and there was another line at €2.90 that was long-wear however the colours were all browns, nudes and purples.....I wanted to get it, but it isn't season appropriate so I might as well wait until fall shows up.
And that's it!! Thank you for passing by~
